The Kempten Museum is partially accessible to wheelchair users. The building has barrier-free access for wheelchairs and people with limited mobility. Inductive hearing systems are available for visitors. There are tactile models, smell stations, and listening points located throughout the museum.

  • by car
    Take the A7, B12, or B19 to Kempten and follow signs for the town centre (Stadtmitte), where the museum is located. Satnav users can enter the following address: Residenzplatz 31, 87435 Kempten (Allgäu).

  • by bus
    Use the Residenzplatz stop on bus routes 1, 5, and 40, which run from the ZUM hub (Zentraler Umsteigeplatz Kempten).

Parking

The museum does not have its own car park. There are a few paid parking spaces right in front of the building, with other paid options within easy walking distance:

  • Pfeilergraben car park (Pfeilergraben 14)
  • Car park at the Marstall (Landwehrstr. 4)
  • Königsplatz car park/garage (Am Königsplatz 3)
